What to Expect from a CMB HVAC Service Visit
Understand diagnosis, installation planning and maintenance, and the questions to ask about HVAC credentials and warranty terms.

A useful HVAC visit starts with the problem you are experiencing: rooms that will not stay comfortable, unusual cycling, a leak or equipment that will not start. CMB HVAC provides heating and cooling service for homes and light-commercial properties. Our team brings over 20 years of experience.
Diagnosis before a repair decision
Describe when the problem started and share the equipment model, age and repair history if available. Testing can help distinguish a failed component from an airflow or control problem. Ask for the findings and proposed scope before authorizing work.
Planning a replacement
Discuss the building, existing ductwork, comfort goals and compatibility with the rest of the system. Equipment capacity alone does not establish whether a replacement will fit the property. Ask which installation and commissioning steps are included.
Maintenance and documentation
Scheduled maintenance provides an opportunity to inspect equipment and identify developing problems. It cannot guarantee a particular lifespan, lower bills or freedom from breakdowns. Keep visit records and the manufacturer instructions with your equipment information.
Credentials and warranties
Ask about the credentials relevant to the specific work. Refrigerant handling has its own certification requirements; it is different from a general claim that a company is certified. Request the applicable manufacturer and installation warranty terms in writing, including registration requirements, exclusions and responsibility for labor.
Request a service appointment or discuss equipment with or without installation.
