Who we are

CMB HVAC LLC is a residential and light-commercial HVAC contractor with water-heater services at 3146 N Fairfield Rd STE3, Layton, UT 84041. This policy explains what information we handle when you use cmbhvac.agentsandbox.work, call or text us, or book service with us — and what we deliberately don't do with it.

The short version

We keep this policy plain on purpose:

• We collect the contact and service details you give us, and we use them to schedule and perform work — nothing more.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.
• Online booking is handled by Housecall Pro; website analytics come from Google.
• You can ask us at any time to correct or delete the contact information we hold.

Information you give us

When you contact us by phone, text, email, or our booking page, we collect what you choose to share so we can help you:

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• The service address and how to access the equipment
• Details about your heating, cooling, or water heater issue — including photos you send us
• Scheduling preferences and, if you join, your maintenance membership details
• Payment information — handled in person or through our payment processor when you pay for work. Card numbers are never collected on or stored by this website.

Information collected automatically

This site loads analytics from Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) so we can see which pages are useful. Like most analytics tools, it records pages visited, approximate region, time on page, and browser/device type. We look at it to improve the site — not to profile you or advertise across other sites.

How we use information

Only to run the business you contacted:

• Schedule, remind, and perform service
• Prepare estimates and invoices and honor warranties
• Order equipment and materials for your job
• Administer maintenance memberships
• Follow up about work we performed, including inviting honest reviews
• Understand how the website is used so we can improve it

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them only for anonymous analytics (via Google). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work. Google's own handling of analytics data is described in Google's privacy policy.

Third-party services

A few trusted services operate parts of the experience you see: Housecall Pro powers our online booking and field service records; Google provides analytics; links take you to Facebook, Instagram, and Google Maps. Those companies have their own privacy policies, which govern what they do on their own platforms. We choose them carefully, but we don't control them and can't speak for them.

Text messages and phone calls

If you give us a phone number, we use it for service: appointment confirmations, arrival windows, technician updates, and follow-ups about work performed. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We keep service-related messages and call notes so our office and technicians have context when you call back — and so warranty questions can be answered years later. Ask us to stop non-essential messages at any time.

How we protect information

We limit access to customer information to the office staff and technicians who need it to do their work, and we rely on established platforms (like our booking and payment providers) for security controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but your card details are never stored on this website.

How long we keep records

Service records, invoices, and warranty documentation are kept as long as they are useful for warranties, permits, manufacturer claims, and accounting and tax requirements — commonly several years. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard settings.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the contact information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email team@cmbhvac.com or call (385) 865-6749. We'll verify who you are using the contact details on file before making changes, and we may keep records we're required to keep (invoices, permits, tax records).

Utah residents: rights under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act may apply to you, and we honor them. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and exercising your rights never affects the price or quality of service you receive.

Children's privacy

This site is aimed at homeowners, not children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
